My Little Garrett

You are just over 2 now and as ornery as ever! It's so hard to believe you are growing up so fast. You are trying so hard to talk these days and you have so many new words. Lately, we've gotten you to say funny things like: "hey you guys" from Goonies, "Hey kid" like the homeless dude, and sometimes you will tell us how old you are :) You are obsessed with your shoes! Not only that, but you have to have them in their place or you're wearing them. You don't even care if they match or if they're on the right feet! And, they don't even have to be your shoes! You even sleep in your shoes. SpongeBob is definitely still your favorite cartoon character, but occasionally Handy Manny is a close 2nd. You want to watch SB all the time and you still call him "Bob bob". Every time you see a person, you say "Hi" whether it's me, Braden, daddy or anyone. You still won't really say Braden, you call him baby. You also don't say Gavin for some reason. One of your favorite past times is swinging :) You always want to go outside and "sing" in your favorite green swing. You don't even have to be swinging, just sitting there is enough for you! You also get a little crazy with the chalk outside, coloring on everything from the deck to the slide. Daddy wasn't crazy about you coloring on the house, though!

Your favorite food right now is definitely sausage. You don't usually even eat pizza when we have it, just the sausage. You also love hot dogs and peanut butter & jelly :) We always know when you're sick, because you lose your appetite. Most of the time you are really good and follow the rules, but occasionally you get a little hyper and yell and run around like a crazy person! We love you very much! You are one special little boy.
