Baby April 2015

We found out on August 8, 2014 that we're expecting our 4th child in April 2015! Sadly we lost our Rubin just a few days before on August 3, but we think he had a hand in sending us this miracle! We had our first ultrasound with this little one on August 27 and we saw the little heart beating away at 123 bpm! It's such an awesome feeling to see little baby for the first time! We had another ultrasound on September 10 and the baby was about twice as big! Still had a heart beating away even faster at 170! Starting to look more like a baby now!

On Friday, September 5 we had our families over for Brian's birthday party and we made the awesome announcement! Needless to say everyone was very surprised, especially since we had sold a lot of our baby items at a garage sale the past Spring! But everyone was excited, especially the boys! Garrett can't wait to have a baby to raise ;) On September 24 we had another ultrasound just to check in with baby and this time we could see arms and legs! We even got a little wiggle! Baby was looking great with a heart rate about 170 again! Around October 23 I finally started feeling some flutters at 15 weeks! One day it was undeniable that the baby was moving, it did a little flip and felt like a fish! Movement was off and on until about 18 weeks when the baby started moving much more :)

On November 21 we had our 19 week ultrasound! The baby was very shy and had it's head facing me, snuggled in so we couldn't see the face! But the beautiful heart was beating at 150 and we got to see a lot of squirming. The baby is measuring right on schedule with the head, femur, belly and the goodies they could see! We want to keep the gender a surprise this time and the baby agreed, because he/she was curled into a nice little ball and wasn't showing anything off ;) We get to go back in about a month for the measurements they couldn't see and hopefully we'll get a nice look at the face. Braden got to go to this appointment and he was very excited to see the baby on the TV. He wanted to know if we would get popcorn while we watched the baby movie! He was so good during the appointment and he usually says it's a girl ;)
