Tough times mean saving money! But we still need time to be together as a couple. So this is our list of fun things to do that don't cost much money or are completely free! Some of these activities require a babysitter, but some don't. As much as we love parenting, it can be very difficult at times and we need a break to get to know each other better as we've changed a lot after becoming parents and getting older. Our relationship is a top priority and the happier we are, the more in love we are, the more time we take for ourselves both together and individually is what makes us better parents.

Regardless of the activity, the point is that we are having fun together! We need to remember why we fell in love in the first place. A marriage should always be loving and supportive. We are together to help each other grow as people, parents and partners. In fact, the word "parent" is in "partner" and parenting should be done together in a loving way to help the children of our future grow into loving and respectful people. Always be kind, always be respectful and remember to teach our children as we do, not just as we say. We are their examples as parents and we want to be their biggest influence in the most positive way. That is my introspective and thoughtful blog of the day :-)
