Spring Break 2011

Spring Break started off with a half day of school on Friday, 3/18/11. Gavin was beyond excited that he was getting out of school early! We went out to dinner for Grandma & Grandpa D's b-day party that night. On Saturday, Gavin got to go fishing with Pops and Daddy. He did great and the weather was really nice! Mommy stayed home with the younger boys and just hung out. Uncle John brought over their dog Libby so we could dog sit this week. She promptly pooped on the rug! Then Pops and Grandma came over for dinner later :) Yummy burgers on the grill!

On Sunday, Daddy took Gavin to KidSpot at church. Mommy took Garrett & Braden to a b-day party at Chuck E Cheese's! Garrett played all the game, won lots of tickets and then got to eat pizza and cake!

Monday the older boys went to the gym with mommy! They had fun playing there. Braden stayed home with daddy because he wasn't feeling well. Then mommy took Braden to the doc and he most likely has RSV, so has to wait it out :( We came home and daddy went back to work. Braden took a nice, long nap (3 hours!!!) and the rest of us played outside! We grilled out for dinner and Gavin couldn't get enough BBQ chicken!!! Then aunt Cassidy came over to spend the night!

Aunt Cassidy went with us to the CDM on Tuesday with Krysta, Paige & Khloe! All the kids had a blast! Garrett's whole shirt was soaked from playing in the water. We all had a ton of fun playing with the impression pins, putting our faces and bodies in it. Even Braden took part and put his hand in! The kids all climbed up into the web, too! Then we came home, ate lunch, and relaxed for a bit. After Grandma D picked up Cassidy, we ran a quick errand and all 3 boys fell asleep in the van!!! Then we all had a nice relaxing night at home :)

Wednesday we all went to the gym again. We briefly lost Gavin in the gym, just long enough to give mommy and the other workers a panic attack, but he was just behind the doll house playing with Barbies :) After work, the boys all got McDonald's for lunch and our friend Mya and her mom Jessica came over to play! Then Garrett had physical therapy and Gavin enjoyed helping him with his tasks, including playing with tools and building blocks. It was a gorgeous day, but then the clouds and cold weather moved in, YUCK! So another relaxing night at home after that.

On Thursday it was cold and yucky outside, so a great day for movies and computer games! Then Gavin came to work at the gym with mommy while the younger boys stayed at home with daddy. Not much exciting went on!

It's Friday! Aunt Cindi and Emily and Kayla are coming over today to play :) Will update later...
